You do not need a media server to use Vyn as a movie and TV companion. Discover films and series, see where titles are available to watch, track what you have watched and build personal lists. No Vyn account is required.
Start with a mood, a genre or a performer. Explore cast and collections, look at episode information and ratings, or save a title for later. Recommendations are shaped privately on your device, so discovering something new can begin with what you already enjoy.
A watchlist with a sense of what is next
My Vyn brings your watchlist, Continue Watching and upcoming episodes into one personal space. Instead of maintaining separate mental lists for what to start, what to finish and what is airing next, you can see the relevant parts of your watching life together.
Your watchlist is for things you want to watch; watch history records what you have watched. Keeping those jobs distinct makes it easier to find the next good choice. A film can be worth saving even when it is not on a connected server today.
Bring Trakt and Simkl along
Connect Trakt or Simkl in Vyn to bring watchlist, history and scrobbling into the experience. Both services can be connected at the same time. These integrations are optional: you can explore and use Vyn without signing into either one.
Scrobbling reports viewing activity to the service you connect. It is useful if you already keep your watch history there and want playback in Vyn to be part of it. The information shared with connected services is explained in the privacy policy.
If an expected item is missing, check which service and account are connected before making changes to your lists. Your external account’s data and permissions are separate from the local app experience.
A Home that reflects your taste
Reorder Home rows, hide the ones you do not use and build your own collections. Personal lists can follow any theme that makes sense to you: a director, a rainy afternoon, a run of short films, or the shows you want to catch up on.
With Vyn Plus, viewing stats add a look back at your habits, and iCloud Sync keeps watchlists, progress and organisation in step across your devices. Additional profiles let more people keep a space of their own. The free experience includes the watchlist and upcoming-episode essentials.
When you are ready to press play
Connecting Plex, Jellyfin, Emby or IPTV adds playback from your own compatible media sources. It extends the same browsing and tracking experience. It does not turn the discovery catalogue into an included streaming subscription.
